Everyone has a story and I was very blessed to be able to hear some of our ladies share their salvation stories at Bible study last night. Each testimony was so different and I was so impressed with the way that God works in each of our lives to bring us to Him. Whether it be a heart condition, a rebellious heart, quitting drinking and smoking, or a relationship that is out of God's will, He knows us so well and He knows what it will take for us to realize our need for Him. In every case, there was an amazing sense of gratitude to God for everything He has done and how He has blessed each of us.
You can be friends with people, but you see a different side of someone when they are sharing how God has changed their life and you see them as so much more than you did before you knew their story. I love that!
If your story can have an impact on another Christian like me, imagine the impact it can have on someone who is searching for meaning and purpose in their life! Don't be afraid to share what God has done and is doing in your life. You never know who may need to hear it!!!
I am feeling very encouraged today because of my experience last night. God used each lady in ways they probably don't realize. It is humbling to be able to minister to people who are striving to let God be first in their lives. I am supposed to be the teacher, but I think I may be learning the most!!
I have so much to learn!!
